Customer Service Point (CSP) Representatives 

The role:

We are currently accepting job applications for our Retail stores. The job is on a part-time contract basis. The CSP Representative enjoys a dynamic and high energy work environment. Responsibility to provide an outstanding customer experience in the retail store by assisting new and existing customers.  As a member of a store team, they will strive toward helping the store achieve its financial and customer service goals.

Legal Manager - Nicosia


MTN legal team provides effective, timely and consistently high-quality advice to MTN business on commercial, corporate transactions and operational matters. We are here to identify and manage risk and to assist in the exploitation of commercial opportunities. This position will support onsite work for the Legal Department and will manage the work flow process for all legal, compliance matters for MTN Cyprus and all subsidiaries.

The role:

Reporting to the Head of Legal the successful candidate will ensure that organizational legal matters are managed properly, efficiently and that the relevant and respective stakeholders are shared and given proper advice and guidance.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for redesigning overall contract management processes in close cooperation with procurement division.
  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising on a range of commercial, employment and technology contracts.
  • Responsible for the development, delivery and documentation of legal compliance programme.
  • Advising on all commercial and consumer related matters.
  • Advising on employment and corporate matters.
  • Advising, instructing and managing external lawyers.
  • Delegation and supervision of work to other staff members of the legal division.

Knowledge/Education:

  • 5+ Years corporate / commercial legal experience as part of a large corporate or private practice firm. Expertise in commercial, data protection and labour law as a core competence.
  • At least two years of managerial experience.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and handle a heavy workload with multiple priorities and deadlines in a changing and complex environment.
  • Able to translate complex legal issues into simple, actionable outcomes.
  • Excellent drafting skills and fluency both in Greek and English.

Systems Engineer - IT - Nicosia


The role:

We are currently looking for Systems Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the deployment, administration, operation and backup of servers and storage elements infrastructure, as well as installation and configuration of software, monitoring tools and operating systems, onsite and on cloud.

Responsibilities:

  • The installation, deployment, administration, maintenance, monitor, operation and backups of:

  • The installation, maintenance, administration and configuration of the Virtualization Infrastructure of the company.

  • Execution of infrastructure and network WO and directives, onsite and on cloud.
  • Will follow all written procedures, designs and WO, and will assist the Infrastructure Operational Manager as requested.
  • Provide support and instructions in his/her areas of expertise to the all MTN departments, partners and vendors.

IT Infrastructure Manager - Nicosia

 

The role:

We are currently looking for an IT Infrastructure Manager. The successful candidate will be managing a team of 5 engineers. Will be responsible for the planning, operation and maintenance and support of the IT Infrastructure of the company. Giving emphasis to enhances inhouse solutions and skills, over outsourcing and non-cost-efficient vendor dependence, making sure that the team is able and capable in managing their tasks efficiently end-to-end, without overdependencies to vendors and others.

Responsibilities:

  • Architectures and dimensions the IT infrastructure systems. Designs how IT infrastructure systems are interfacing each other and with other network and enterprise systems.
  • Prepares and executes migration plans from old legacy systems to new technologies, with emphasis and preference towards cost efficient open source technologies (OpenStack, SQL, etc.).
  • Transforms the working environment and tools that are provided to the company’s workforce, through modern technologies, such as Campus Wi-Fi, efficient desktop applications and collaboration tools. Minimizes the use of the helpdesk, through reliable and self-healing IT systems and applications.
  • Audits and challenges the existing IT infrastructure, towards transforming it into an efficient, powerful and reliable tool for the business.
  • Participates in proof of concepts, to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy.
  • Liaises with vendors for the introduction of new systems, conducts RFPs/RFIs and participates in the selection process of new systems.
  • Performs impact analysis and design modifications to existing systems to support innovative solutions.
  • Develops specifications for interfaces from existing to new systems.
  • Maintains an updated documentation library of system designs and configurations. Properly manages configuration changes end to end.
  • Provides support for incidents and problems in the designated areas of expertise.
  • Generates performance and optimization reports for IT infrastructure systems.
  • Defines and executes comprehensive backup plans, to secure business operations and data.
  • Works with the Information Security Officer in securing the IT infrastructure systems, from design to operations.

Knowledge/Education:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science / Computer Engineering.
  • A master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
  • Minimum 8 years in managing IT systems in large companies or telecom service providers, with solid technical background in IT systems.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Windows/Office concepts, domains, active directory and its concepts, and the interaction between hardware, operating systems, network, datacentre, and application software.
  • Knowledge of Linux and Unix.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies and software - preferably OpenStack.
  • Knowledge of TCP, IP and other network protocols, DNS, DHCP and other network services.
  • Knowledge of Oracle technologies, although more scalable and cost-efficient technologies will be preferred in the future.
  • Knowledge of storage systems and storage virtualization technologies.
  • Knowledge of Cisco and Juniper network equipment, as well as firewalling.
  • Knowledge of IP voice technologies and systems (SIP).
  • Knowledge of managing systems, in terms of monitoring, capacity planning and performance tuning.

The role:

We are currently looking for a Procurement Officer. The successful candidate will be supporting the operation of the company by offering an in-house service by procuring equipment and services as requested by the departments. Contacting vendors to obtain offers, negotiate prices, terms of payment and advising on best solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate prices and payment terms to achieve given targets.
  • Monitoring purchase orders upon delivery.
  • Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports and price books.
  • Preparing and launching tenders.

Payable – Cost of Sales Accountant (Fixed-Term Contract – Maternity Cover) - Nicosia

The role:

We are currently looking for a Payable – Cost of Sales Accountant within our Finance Division, on a fixed term contract as maternity cover. A Payable – Cost of Sales Accountant will be responsible to process financial documents in a timely and accurate manner, to proceed with timely payments of supplier invoices, to provide controls through our policies and procedures, to ensure compliance with appropriate laws and regulations and to deliver reliable reporting and spend analysis to internal customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile vendor statements to ensure timely and accurate payment will be made, research and correct differences/variances.
  • Communication with internal and external customers and vendors for exchange of information and resolving any issues identified.
  • Respond to inquiries from both internal and external customers and vendors in a timely manner.
  • Timely and accurate processing of invoices.
  • Assisting in month end close process for Payable – Cost of Sales department.

Wholesale Analyst – Roaming (Fixed-Term Contract – Maternity Cover) - Nicosia

The role:

We are looking for an International Roaming Coordinator for our Carrier and Roaming Department. The ideal candidate must be able to oversee the roaming products of MTN (Commercial and Profitability analysis, sugestions on needed changes), coordinate the communication with MTN Roaming wholesale partners, maintain an accurate and actual roaming market overview.

Core purpose of the Job:

  • Manage the day to day interaction and communication with MTN roaming partners abroad.
  • Identify new partners or opportunities for new services and agreements.
  • To provide accurate and sufficient commercial & financial analysis for all areas of responsibility.
  • To provide the needed information and intelligence to the CS Manager in order to help define the retail and wholesale strategy of the roaming department.
  • To follow up on and provide analysis and information on the internal and external roaming market.
  • To have an active role in the regulatory environment by following up all roaming related subjects of the local regulator or international regulatory bodies (I.e. GSMA).
  • To coordinate the various internal business units in order to deliver the MTN Cyprus roaming products.
  • To ensure and oversee efficient and smooth operational execution of all roaming processes & contracts.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of B2B relationships will be considered as an advantage.
